Mental Health
Week 2021
Children’s Mental Health Week (1-7 Feb 2021)
From 1-7 February 2021, we’re taking part in Children’s MentalHealth Week. This year’s theme is EXPRESS YOURSELF and we’re encouraging children (and adults) to explore the different ways we can express ourselves, and the creative ways that we can share our feelings, our thoughts and our ideas.
With schools partially closed and lots of uncertainty, children andyoung people’s mental health has never been more important.
When we express ourselves we don’t have to be a great artist or a wonderful dancer. It’s not about being the very best at something or putting on a performance. Let’s encourage each other to findlots of different ways toget creative and express ourselves.
You will notice a change to the afternoon lessons for this week, with a reduction in screen time and an increased opportunity to do things together as a family. In addition to that, we will be encouraging you to take part in the ‘Great ESPA Challenge’. Click the map below to find out more about this.
