In conjunction with the Community Hub opening, a great partnership has emerged between the school and WHG. Connie Jennings (Social Inclusion Manager) at WHG approached the school in early September wanting to really show that WHG is much more than a landlord, but a landlord with opportunity that puts a great emphasis on making a difference in the community.
By providing the community with opportunities to gain qualifications and obtain employment, she believes this is a stepping stone to changing the deprivation in the area. Therefore, we work together in partnership to offer a range of activities, events, training and employment to support our parents in school. WHG over the last thirteen years has created many jobs for past and present parents within our school and this relationship continues to go from strength to strength.
